Data centers on wheels

December 4th, 2008 | by emontero |

After we all heard Google’s incredible plans to take its data centers offshore, many speculated it was only a matter of time before Amazon, Microsoft and IBM (the big cloud players — cloud-ies?) came up with their own futuristic plans in order to reduce the tremendous costs that operating massive data centers entail. Well, here’s Microsoft’s take (video after the jump):

Is that cool or what? I’d be thrilled to see MSN Live on the road. I’d totally honk my support!
